Christine and MishaChristine’s training philosophy is based on partnership, mutual respect and affection between horse and rider, developed through appreciation of sound principles of equine behavior and rider stewardship.

Christine provides challenging yet sensitive instruction for children and adults. She incorporates teaching methods which she acquired during her formal college education, and during her practical experience teaching high school special education, into her equestrian instruction.

In-hand training and her extensive riding experience are utilized to optimally increase the muscular development, balance and technical skill in her horses & students. Christine emphasizes a balanced seat riding technique for all styles of riding . Students  establish a secure seat through use of longe lessons, which are the time honored tool of classical dressage. These techniques allow the student to become a proficient and elegant equestrian.

In selecting horses for her Sales & Leases, Christine specifically looks for and trains her horses for the adult amateur & junior riders. Great pride and care is taken to ensure that each horse & rider match are well suited for each other for the long-term. EHH's horses are talented, and have beautiful gaits. With willing temperaments, they are schooled extensively in dressage, over fences, and cross-country as well as hacked out on trails.
